The Latino Leaders of Clifton is a 501(c)(4) civic organization dedicated to uniting and empowering the Latino community in Clifton, NJ.
Established in 2023, our organization emerged from a collective desire to foster collaboration, enhance representation, and advocate for the rights and interests of Latinos in our diverse city.
OUR HISTORY
In 2022, a group of influential Latino individuals gathered for a private dinner at Noches De Colombia in Clifton, NJ. This meeting, convened by Councilwoman Rosemary Pino, highlighted the internal divisions within our community and sparked the idea of forming a unified organization. Following a series of discussions and a foundational meeting at Rosemary’s home, the Latino Leaders of Clifton was officially registered in 2023.

The Latino Leaders of Clifton is dedicated to fostering collaboration, representation, and civic engagement within the Latino community of Clifton, NJ. Our mission is to unite Latinos of all nationalities, breaking down barriers of jealousy and isolation, to create a powerful, cohesive force for positive change.
We are committed to building a future where Latinos stand strong, united, and respected. As a civic organization, we aim to create a community where our contributions are acknowledged, our voices are heard, and our rights are upheld.
Our vision is to create a strong, united Latino community in Clifton that is recognized and respected for its contributions, both in labor and in civic engagement. We envision a future where Latinos are decision-makers, influencers, and equal participants in local governance and community development.
